'twas slightly scary to standing with my camera only 1/2" from the spider's beastly body, but I think it was worth it. My apologies to those who are offended by these photos. :D

Wow! That's AMAZING! Can't wait to see you in a week or so!

Wow, those are really good!!
Ooh, I don't think I'd want to get that close to a spider that big!LOL
I find myself doing stuff like that, too, for the sake of a good photo...I've found myself lying on the ground, my nose not an inch away from a bumblebee, I've run down to the pond behind our house at about 6:45 in the morning to get a good shot of the sunrise...I've also found myself quacking like a duck to make my little siblings smile for the camera! *blush*
Oh well, all for the sake of getting a good photo, right? :OD
LOL! I was at first like... ewwww... I hate spiders... but then I looked closer... and I'm like... hey! That is a really good photo... LOL! So, yah... Its a great picture... I haven't ever gotten that close to that big of a spider... usually I am too busy killing those 'works of art' to snap a photo! LOL! ;)
I must say that's a great picture, and I admire your bravery!
I admire your bravery! I thought that pictures of spider's were cool....not right up to them though :D I had a spider on my wall last night! I didn't want to sleep...but I made it :)

AHH! *runs from Katie's spider* I couldn't take these pictures if my life depended on it! Spiders are my greatest fear. *shivers*
But, awesome shots anyway. :):)
Sending this blog over to my sister. She's an up-and-coming photographer. :)
I like those photos. If I saw that spider I would scream and go running. I'd never be able to take a photo of a spider that big and that close to me.
You've been awarded the Brillante Award for your outstanding blog. Please come and claim it soon, thanks so much. I admire your outstanding "brave-ness"!
